Windsor teams advance to rugby championships
For the second year in a row, Avon View captured the boy's rugby Western Regional title, defeating Horton 39-10 in Windsor May 29.
In girls' action, Avon View will not have the opportunity to defend their 2007 provincial title. The team lost to King's-Edgehill, 22-5, in the Western Region finals.
Avon View boys and King's-Edgehill girls advance to the NSSAF provincial championships, June 6-7 at Graves-Oakley field in Halifax.
