Valley Voices sing

Valley Voices chorus members, music coach Paul Grimm and director Theressa Weatherby (far left, front) all felt very fortunate to have two evenings recently of coaching from David Wright (bottom centre), an accomplished singer, arranger, composer, director and music judge from St. Louis, Missouri. The group is getting ready to host the Area 1 convention and contest June 5 to 8 at Acadia University, Wolfville. Six quartets will compete at 12:30 p.m. and eight choruses perfrom at 7:30 p.m. June 6 at Convocation Hall. The chorus is hoping folks in the area will come out and cheer them on - and enjoy the a cappella, four part harmony, barbership-style singing of all the participating singers from throughout the Atlantic Provinces.
