Annual General Meeting

Community partners, Kings CED Agency members and the general public are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Kings Community Economic Development Agency Thursday, June 12 from 5-8:30 p.m. The AGM will be held in the Annapolis Mess at 14 Wing Greenwood.

Guest speaker will be Dr. Robert Summerby-Murray, Dean of Social Sciences, Mount Allison University, who will speak on the socio-economic impact of heritage tourism on rural Maritime communities.

A dinner will also be provided and 2008-2009 membership dues can be paid at the door.

Valley Community Fibre Network’s Annual General Meeting

Preceding the Kings CED Agency’s AGM, the Annual General Meeting of the Valley Community Fibre Network (VCFN) will take place also Thursday, June 12 at 3 p.m. The AGM will be held at the Annapolis Mess at 14 Wing Greenwood.

The AGM will include presentations of the VCFN’s progress to-date and a presentation of the financials by the auditor.

Kentville’s ICSP Public Meeting

Kentville is having its first public meeting about the Integrated Community Sustainability Plan June 5 at 7 p.m. at the Kentville Recreation Centre (second floor, 354 Main Street, Kentville). Refreshments will be provided.
