What's behind the green door?
Letter to The Advertiser
To the Editor:
The Wolfville Mayor’s recent newsletter was okay for the things he wrote about. It’s what he didn’t write about that’s needed, suggested and requested by the people.
Examples given: a 101 highway on-off ramp at Maple Ave., Highland Ave. or Gaspereau Ave. for commerce and faster police and ambulance travel in emergencies; purchasing more land from Kings County.
What was not mentioned also was Wolfville’s good spring water becomes not so good as it travels to our homes through very old, corroded pipelines, and that’s why we get rust-like stains in our bathtubs and toilets.
By mentioning only the good things in his letter, it gets residents into thinking that Wolfville is the greenest and healthiest place to live. Politely knock and the green door shall not be opened unto you; kick it in and ye shall see the other side.
