New RCMP colouring book launched as part of display
This is National Police Week and a display has been set up at the Yarmouth Mall to showcase the local RCMP’s work and initiatives, along with other groups like CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency), MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) and the Yarmouth Town and County Crime Prevention Association.
The display opened Wednesday and will remain in place until Saturday afternoon, May 17. The display is open during mall hours.
The display features no shortage of information for the public, with everything ranging from general information about the police and other protection services, to Internet safety to safety programs geared towards young people. The RCMP will also be handing out information on recruitment for the force.
The display also features the launch of an RCMP child safety and adventure colouring book that is sponsored by the Yarmouth Town and County Crime Prevention Association. The colouring book was printed by Transcontinental Media.
