Vehicle overturns on Highway 101
RCMP Traffic Services investigated a single vehicle crash this morning at 7:40 a.m.
While trying to pull over, a westbound pick-up truck lost control, struck a guardrail and flipped onto its side. The pick-up truck came to rest on the westbound shoulder of the highway, partially on the pavement.
The two occupants were extricated by the New Minas Fire Department using the Jaws of Life. The occupants were transported to the Valley Regional with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two dogs that were also in the truck suffered serious but undetermined injuries.
Highway 101 was closed for over an hour, between exits 12 and 13.
