Queens Place work continues with Joval demolition

The former Joval International Inc. clothing store warehouse was demolished today (April 29) as progress continues on the upcoming Queens Place multi-use recreation facility. The Region of Queens Municipality has also demolished an adjacent single family dwelling and cleared 21 acres of land, which will house a 900-seat NHL size arena, aquatic centre, walking track, fitness centre and community room.
