Historic Port Joli talk
Mersey Heritage Society members and friends are shown touring archaeological sites on the west side of Port Joli Bay last September.
Historic Port Joli talk
The Mersey Heritage Society is pleased to welcome local historian Danielle Robertson as she gives a visual presentation of the native and early Loyalist history of the Port Joli area.
Danielle has researched the history and archaeology of the area for many years, and has led many tours highlighting the historic and natural features of the bay. The Canadian Museum of Civilization hopes to add to that knowledge this summer visiting the area to conduct research into aboriginal uses of the area.

The talk takes place on April 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the former Gorham School on Payzant Street in Liverpool. It is open to the public and there is no admission charge. For more information call David Chandler at 354-3166 or visit www.mersey.ca.
