New Minas Earth Day community cleanup makes amazing difference
Many hands make light work and what a difference a couple of hours can make. The Annapolis Valley Business Environmental Committee hosted a community cleanup in New Minas on Sunday morning, April 20 in Celebration of Earth Day, which is coming up on Tuesday. Over 100 volunteers picked up hundreds of bags of garbage. The parking lot of Innovative Systems and Transcontinental served as home base, and there was live music, corporate mascots and a barbecue and other treats for the participants.
