Catholic hip-hop artist Righteous B brings his message to Kentville
Catholic hip-hop artist Righteous B performed for an enthusiastic crowd of young people at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kentville Saturday night. The self-professed “hip-hop junkie” spent many years in New York as a youth minister and created “fresh-to-death hip-hop” as a powerful tool to share the good news of Jesus Christ with young people starving for hope and truth. Righteous B will perform for more than 200 junior high school students during a rally in Dartmouth on Sunday. The events are warm-ups for the second annual Steubenville Atlantic Weekend in Antigonish August 1 to 3, where more than 1,000 young people will gather to celebrate their faith.
