Registry of Motor Vehicle office closing for computer switchover
Access Nova Scotia Centres and Registry of Motor Vehicles Offices across the province will be closed Friday, April 18, at 4:30 p.m. until Wednesday, April 23, while it shifts its 20-year-old computer system to a new web-based system.

Nova Scotians who have licences that expire on April 21-22 are urged to renew early to avoid any inconvenience.

The province says the new system will be easier to operate and can be adapted to new programs and changes in the future. It will also cost less to operate.

For more information, call 1-800-898-7668 (toll-free) or visit www.gov.ns.ca .
