Tourism information session at Cornwallis Park
Tourism operators and industry leaders will have an opportunity to provide input into the province’s annual tourism plan through a series of meetings this spring.

In this area, a meeting will be held Friday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Annapolis Basin Conference Centre in Cornwallis Park.

The Let's Talk Tourism session is held in partnership with the industry association Destination Southwest Nova and the Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage.

Participants will get progress updates on the tourism plan—New Realities, New Directions—and the new Nova Scotia tourism brand launched in November at the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia conference.

Sessions will also feature a brief update on the proposed repeal of the Tourist Accommodations Act.

Admission is free. For more information, contact Erin Hume at (902) 634-8844 or ehume@destinationsouthwestnova.com .
