Vandals in SUV damage school property

Digby RCMP are seeking public assistance in finding those responsible for causing damage to the playing field at Weymouth Consolidated School early Sunday.
The field was extensively damaged along with a section of playground at the back of the school.
Witnesses living near the school say they were woken by a vehicle driving down in the field and saw a dark sports utility vehicle tearing around the Gully.
The vehicle raced from the field and disappeared up the new access road that leads from Hwy. 1 to the Weymouth WAD lab. Barriers at either end of the access road were damaged as well.
Anyone having information is asked to contact Digby RCMP at 245-2579.
