Kings Community Economic Developments
Technology Workshop

Representatives from business and industry are invited to attend a presentation by Leigh Huestis, the Director of the Acadia University Office of Technology Transfer and Innovation entitled, “Business Partnerships with Acadia University: Acadia’s Office of Technology Transfer and Innovation (OTTI) working with you”.

The workshop will be held on April 15, 2008 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at Smitty’s in New Minas. There’s a cost of $10, payable at the door.

Niv Harrison has been employed with the Kings CED Agency since April 2, 2007 for a one-year contract as the Assistant Development Officer. Niv has assisted the Agency on a number of projects, including the Annapolis Valley Events and Sport Tourism Association and the Valley Community Fibre Network.

On behalf of the Kings CED Agency, we would like to extend a big thank-you to Niv for all his hard work, dedication and wealth of knowledge and assistance throughout his time at the Agency. The Agency would like to also wish Niv good luck as he begins his new business venture, Sales Support Online.

2008-2009 Membership Renewal

The Kings CED Agency is a non-profit organization that encourages individuals to become members. Member benefits include: voting rights for election of Board Members; annual reports; and the satisfaction of being part of a community-driven economic development strategy. Membership in the Kings CED Agency is on a fiscal year basis from April 1 to March 31.
