Highland dancing results
Several dancers from the MacKenzie School of Dance competed at the Halifax Highland Dance competition on March 29.
Yarmouth dancers outnumbered the competition in Halifax and also placed well earning many medals.

Beginner 8 and under:
Sophie Surette : 3rd in the fling and 2nd in the Sean Tribhaus
Hayden Saulnier: 4th in the Sean Tribhaus
Beginner 9 and 10:
Blaine Saulnier: 2nd in the Fling, 6th in the Sword and 6th in the Sean Tribhaus
Jordan Ferguson: 5th in the Fling and 5th in the Sean Tribhaus
Hannah White: 3rd in the Sword
Courtney Cottreau: 3rd in the Fling, 4th in the Sword and 4th in the Sean Tribhaus
Beginner 11 and over:
Hannah Ward 3rd in the fling, 2nd in the Sword and 2nd in the Sean Tribhaus
Novice 9 and under:
Haley LeBlanc: 3rd in the fling, 3rd in the Sword, 3rd in the Sean Tribhaus and 2nd in the Flora
Madison Boudreau: 1st in the Fling, 2nd in the Sword, 2nd in the Sean Tribhaus and 3rd in the Flora
Novice 10 and 11:
Kennedy Hayes-Allen: 4th in the Flora
Kylie Landry: 4th in the Fling, 3rd in the Sword, 2nd in the Sean Tribhaus and 1st in the Flora
Morgan Allen: 3rd in the Fling, 2nd in the Sword, 4th in the Sean Tribhaus and 2nd in the Flora
Novice 12 and over:
Jamie Saulnier: 1st in the Sword, 2nd in the Sean Tribhaus and 4th in the Flora
Daphne Deveau: 3rd in the Fling, 2nd in the Sword,1st in the Sean Tribhaus and 2nd in the Flora. She was also the High Aggregate winner for Novice 12 and over
Intermediate 12 and over:
Josee d'Entremont: 3rd in the Sword and 4th in the Reel
Laura Kaiser: 2nd in the Fling, 4th in the Sword and 4th in the Sean Tribhaus.
