ATOM A MARINERS WIN BRONZE AT TOURNAMENT

The Wedgeport Kwik Mart Atom A Mariners shut out Cole Harbour 4-0 to win the bronze medal at a tournament in Bridgewater over the weekend.

Matthew Hines scored a hat-trick in the March 30 game, assisted by Shayna Heroux on each goal. Brandon Goodwin scored Yarmouth’s other goal during the match, assisted by Stephen Shaw. Colby Muise was in net for the win.

Hines was named the Player of the Game for a second time during the tournament, an honour that was also dedicated to the Atom A parents by the players.

Hines had two other goals during the tournament, with assists from Quinten Johnson and Shayna Heroux.

The other players of the game during the tournament were Quinten Johnson and Tyler Greene. This tournament wrapped up the Mariners season.
