Comeau reappointed chief judge
Former Digby lawyer John D. Comeau has been reappointed chief judge of Nova Scotia’s family court for five years.
Comeau has served as chief judge since May 2000 and on the bench of the family court since November 1981.
He was called to the bar in 1973 after graduating from St. Francis Xavier University and Dalhousie Law School.
Until his appointment to the bench in 1981, he practiced in Digby at the firm of Albert and Comeau.
His reappointment was announced today by Attorney General Cecil Clarke.
