Drug warrant executed, arrests and seizures made

A Yarmouth County man and woman are scheduled to appear in provincial court on June 24 following the execution of a search warrant at residence on Hueston Street.

The RCMP say the pair are being charged with charges under the Control Drugs and Substances Act, Excise Act and Criminal Code.

On Wednesday evening, March 5, the RCMP town detachment, assisted by the street crime enforcement unit and police dog services, executed a search warrant at a private residence,

The RCMP claim a quantity of drugs, illegal cigarettes, cash and property were seized.

The identities of those charged have not been released.
