Mariners win Division title
The Lady Mariners basketball team from Digby Regional defeated New Germany 54-52 yesterday to win Nova Scotia’s Division 3 championship.
Joleesa Robinson led Digby scorers with 22 points, while Kate Chute added 12.
In boys’ action, the Stingrays from St. Mary’s Bay Academy are bringing home the bronze medal after downing Guysborough 95-74.
