Top team wins trip to Provincials
It’s a must-win weekend for the Lady Mariners senior girls’ basketball team at Digby Regional High School.
The top team from provincial qualifiers, which begin today at 5 p.m., advances to the provincial championships Feb 28- March 1 in Cape Breton.
The schedule sees Bridgetown take on Musquodoboit at 5 p.m. in the DRHS gym, followed at 7 by a game between Digby and Musquodoboit.
On Saturday, the Digby girls take on Bridgetown at 10 a.m. to complete the round-robin event.
