Sunday Flea Markets at the Canning Lions Hall: winter weather can often grind events to a halt, however, not the case here, says Lions Club member Don. Last week, 150 people came through the doors to visit the 56 sellers who were set up with friendly smiles and a wide variety of items for sale. The hall will hold 70-75 tables comfortably, Don notes.

The hall is open to sellers from 6-8 a.m. and buyers from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with an average of 65 tables. It’s open year-round. Tables are $5 each and a canteen is available with free coffee and tea to sellers.

The building is wheelchair accessible and all proceeds go to the hall. Contact Don at 678-5525 for details.
