Digby hosting curling playdowns
Thirteen teams from southern Nova Scotia will be in Digby Feb. 1-3 compete for the right to play for the Nova Scotia senior men’s championship.

Digby Curling Club is hosting the southern zone playdowns that get underway Fridat, Feb. 1, at 3 p.m., with additional draws at 8:30 p.m. There are three draws on Saturday and two more on Sunday.

Digby’s team consists of Ed Comeau, Ian MacKenzie, Keith Ring and Pete Comeau. There will also be teams from Clare, Wolfville, Barrington, Bridgewater, Greenwood, three teams from Mayflower and two from Liverpool.

The public is invited to come and watch some excellent curling.
