Family Literacy Day celebrated at Yarmouth library




There will be a celebration of Family Literacy Day beginning at 2:30 p.m. at the Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Library on Sunday, Jan. 27. This program is for families with children ages eight and under and it includes a half-hour of stories, rhymes, games and songs.

Participants are asked to register for this program by Thursday, Jan. 24 by calling the library at 742-5040 or by e-mailing yarmouth@nsy.library.ns.ca. Include the event name in the e-mail subject line and your name and phone number in the e-mail. The library is located at 405 Main St. in Yarmouth.
