36 Canadian Brigade Group pace stick handed over
Outgoing 36 Canadian Brigade Group Brigade Sergeant Major CWO Howie Dunbar (right) turns the pace stick of office over to his successor CWO Peter Andrews, as brigade commander Col. David Henley (centre) observes. Dunbar is the former RSM of the First Battalion Nova Scotia Highlanders, while Andrews and Henley are formerly of the First Field Regiment, Halifax. The ceremony took place prior to Dunbar's final mess dinner in that position at Camp Aldershot Saturday evening, Jan. 12. Dunbar goes on to a new posting at Land Force Atlantic Area.

Following the presentation and dinner, Dunbar speaks with Andrews and CWO Peter Bailey (Ret’d), Kentville, a predecessor and mentor. Bailey is a former RSM of the West Novas.
