Roseway Hospital emergency department closed Thursday morning ***UPDATED***
The Roseway Hospital emergency department will be closed Thursday morning, Jan. 10, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. because of physician unavailability. The six-hour closure is temporary.
Shelburne County residents requiring emergency services should visit Yarmouth Regional Hospital Emergency Department or Queens General Hospital in Liverpool.
Those seeking medical attention are reminded to bring their Nova Scotia Health Card, a list of medications and a list of allergies to the emergency department.
If necessary call 911 for an emergency or ambulance. Emergency Departments under the South West Nova District Health Authority use a triage system that gives priority to emergency cases.
