Busy morning
Windsor’s Fire Department had a busy morning Tuesday, Jan. 8. Members responded to a call around 10 a.m. at the CIBC on Gerrish Street. The branch was closed briefly while a smell of burning wires was investigated. Staff remained in the building while firefighters searched for the cause. Shortly after, a tractor-trailer engine fire was reported just east of Exit 4 on Highway 101. Police and fire services responded and the fire was extinguished quickly. No one was injured in either incident.
