Newcomers Club to learn about Acadian legends in Little Brook
Tri-Counties Newcomers Club will be having lunch in Little Brook and learning about Acadian legends beginning at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 20.
Participants are to meet at 1 p.m. at the Su Ben Bed and Breakfast, 890 Hwy. 1 in Little Brook. The event includes a tour of the bed and breakfast, lunch for $7 per person and a presentation by Nicole Boudreau on Acadian legends. The program is for anyone who wants to attend and people are asked to call organizer Diane Saulnier to RSVP.
To get to the Su Ben take Highway 101 to exit 29. Drive all the way to Highway 1 and turn left. The Newcomers Club is for anyone new to the community or interested in finding out more about their community and making new friends, but the program is open to the general public and is a family event.
