There were 164 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between Dec. 28 and Jan. 3.
There was a collision in South Berwick last Friday morning. A red Kawasaki ATV was stolen from Exhibition St. in north Kentville.
Several vehicles parked at the arena in Kingston suffered a smash-and-grab. Windows were broken to access purses left inside.
A stolen truck from New Minas was located in Aylesford at 3:08 a.m. Dec. 29.
Two vehicles were involved in a collision on Brooklyn St. Then vehicles went off the road in Greenwood and Sheffield Mills.
An impaired driver was apprehended in a routine check on Westwood St. in Kingston.
Someone threw a metal post through a basement window at the Port Williams Baptist Church.
Three kayaks were stolen from outbuildings at a cottage break-in at Aylesford Lake.
Scrap metal was stolen from ACA in New Minas around 11:25 p.m.
On New Year’s Day, just before 2 a.m., a man was arrested after breaking a plate glass window during an altercation with a bouncer at Dooley’s in Greenwood.
About 24 youth, who had been drinking, were fighting in Morden about 3 a.m.
A female coffee shop worker fell on ice and injured herself before 6 a.m.
Police checked on a driver who had gone off the road in Coldbrook and determined that he was impaired about 6:15 a.m.
A collision occurred in Grand-Pre at 3 p.m. A Centreville property owner reported someone drove over a lawn the previous night. An impaired driver was picked up in Greenwood.
An Aylesford resident reported someone kicked in a vehicle while it was parked at a party the night before.
An $800 digital camera was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at a New Minas mall.
On Jan. 2, a Honda Civic was reported stolen from New Minas. A snowplow collided with a van in Keddy’s Corner at noon.
A number of items were stolen from a residence on Hillside Ave. in Wolfville in a break-in.
At 4:51 a.m. last Thursday, police received a reported a driver who was swerving repeatedly on Highway 101 near New Minas. Rather than being impaired, he had just worked a night shift in Dartmouth and was headed home.
There were two mental health calls. Seven domestic incidents occurred, including one call from a spouse whose partner was smashing a vehicle with a shovel.
There were 12 false business alarms, three false residential alarms and 12 false 911 calls. Each one wasted half an hour of police time.
