Weymouth break ins
RCMP seeking public's help
Thieves broke into three cottages on Cougar Lane in Weymouth Falls during the week of Nov. 18- 25.

The Digby RCMP issued a press release today, Monday, Dec. 17, asking for the public's help.

Const. Beverly White says all three seasonal residences are owned by people from overseas. The break-ins were discovered by a caretaker.

"It's pretty rural and there aren't a lot of houses around there, but we are hoping maybe someone heard something or saw something."

The release says the thieves stole a "professional archery set (blue and silver in colour), a Kenmore stereo, and an English pocket translator."

Const. White says these thefts were not copper related.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crimestoppers at 1(800)222-TIPS (8477) or the Digby Detachment at 245-2579.
