Two snowstorm accidents in south Queens
During the morning snowfall on Dec. 10 a motorist lost control of a vehicle on Highway 103 next to Exit 18. The vehicle hit a highway sign before resting in the trees. The driver was not seriously injured.
This followed an earlier accident that left a female driver with a broken arm. The accident occurred 8 a.m., trapping the driver in the vehicle on Highway 8 in Milton.

The Liverpool Fire Department and Emergency Health Services assisted. The Jaws of Life was used. The vehicle was extensively damaged, and the driver transported to Queens General Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries and released.
