Natural Christmas Decorations, Sunday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. Adults and teens (14+) are invited to join us for an afternoon making natural Christmas decorations. All supplies are provided and participants will take home their creations. Call to register.

A fun morning of Christmas-themed stories, songs, activities and crafts for preschoolers (ages 2-5) and their caregivers. Call to register.

Almost the Night Before Christmas
Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. Join us for a special Christmas storytime featuring new and favourite children’s Christmas stories. All ages are welcome.

Wrapping Wednesdays
Wednesday, Dec. 12 and 19, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Need a quiet place away from prying eyes to wrap your Christmas presents? We have tables and chairs set up; just bring your gifts and wrapping supplies. No registration required.
Christmas Puppet Show
Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2:30 p.m.
The whole family is invited to attend our Christmas puppet show. Stay after the show for our fun letter-writing workshop. Write your letter to Santa or make a Christmas card. No registration required.
Masters Swim Club
A swim group for ages 19-and-over focusing on fitness, and open to swimmers of all abilities. Winter term begins Jan. 2 and ends March 7 ($70). Spring term is March 26 to June 13 ($90) at King's Edgehill School Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, 6-7 a.m.

Windsor Exhibition Arena, (Wentworth Rd., Windsor)
The Windsor Exhibition Arena is a recreation magnet for those skating and hockey enthusiasts! The arena books ice to many clubs, teams and organizations, and offers instructional skating and public skating times.
Birthday skating parties - Your party plans can include attending the regular public skate and renting a dressing room to decorate, serve birthday cake, open presents and keep warm! (Cost: $16)
Please note there is a charge for skate admission in addition to the room rental fee.
Learn to Skate Wednesdays
Level 1 (Pre-Beginner) 4:15-4:45 p.m.
Level 2 (Beginner) 4:15-4:45 p.m. or 4:50-5:20 p.m.
Level 3 (Elementary) 4:50-5:20 p.m.

Learn to skate lessons are for children of all ages. The progressive skills include glides, squats, turning, sculling, crossovers and much more.

The Windsor arena is a perfect location to rent the ice for you and your friends, family, business or organization. Plan a leisurely skate, a party or organize a pick-up game of hockey.

Nova Scotia’s winter active campaign designed to help Nova Scotians of all ages improve their health and quality of life by being outdoors and active this winter!
On this site you can discover cool tips and ideas for having fun in the outdoors this winter. While on the website, be sure to sign up to be a TTROW Supporter, and use the great resources available, including the media materials, kids’ zone activities and posters.
So you’re helping your community, school, business or organization build more physical activity into their daily routine? Don’t let them spend another winter sitting around the house being bored when there are so many cool ways to celebrate active and healthy living in Nova Scotia.
You can create your own Take The Roof Off Winter event or make something you already do annually a Take The Roof Off Winter occasion. Build an outdoor rink; organize an outdoor game of ringette, broomball, curling or hockey; host an ice fishing competition; toboggan with friends and family; create a winter carnival; snowshoe through the woods.
