Winter scene seen inside out

Window painter Larry Lee puts the finishing touches on a mural crated for a Digby car dealership (Belliveau Motors). The winter scene, which includes a classic pickup and a modern automobile, is partly made up as he goes, says the artist.

Lee says he began painting murals on windows 38 years ago, and was the first in the province to create such works. The process has been amazing workers who have watched the painting take shape, done in reverse with the final picture visible only from the building’s outside.
