Kings RCMP has seized hundreds of pounds of dried, cultivated marijuana following a search of a Gospel Woods Road residence.
The search took place Friday morning, Oct. 12 and continued at the time a news release was issued Friday, with police seizing vehicles and other possessions in addition to the 400 pounds of marijuana. The search involved several other buildings as well.
Police had three adults - one male and two females - in custody Friday morning, but there was no word on arrests or charges as of press time for this issue.
Sgt. Mike Holland would not put a value on the drugs, but said in a news release that the seizure is significant, taking in excess of 1.5 million to three million marijuana joints off the street.
