Yarmouth high Vikings defeat Kings Edgehill 2-0 on Monday
The Yarmouth high boys’ soccer team defeated Kings Edgehill 2-0 in a game hosted by the Vikings on Monday.

Scoring for Yarmouth were Sydney Doucette and Brett Trask. The shut-out went to Zack Kennedy.

Yarmouth plays each Division 1 team once and the team with the best record in their region gets to host regionals, which obviously Yarmouth is hoping to do.

The team’s game on Oct.11 against Horton will determine if it hosts regionals.

The team’s win against Horton in a Valley Tourament this pass weekend was the first time in many years that Yarmouth had defeated Horton.
