Coast Guard to the Rescue
Coast Guard to the Rescue
The FV Kevin and Fabian arrived at the Lower Woods Harbour dock after a six-hour tow from the Browns Bank fishing grounds early Wednesday. The vessel, owned by Leslie Goreham had just set 26 tubs for groundfish, with three to go when she developed problems with her reduction gear around 1:30 a.m.

The CG ship Sir William Alexander arrived on the scene approximately two hours later and commenced towing closer to the headlands then transferred the line to the Coast Guard Cutter Spray.
