New Minas Celebration Days kick-off with a bang
New Minas Celebration Days kicked off with a bang at Lockhart and Ryan Memorial Park on Friday evening. The New Minas Fire Department Auxiliary held its ninth annual golf ball drop fundraiser for the department as part of the kick-off. The winning ball was #755, held by Donna Lyons of Coldbrook, who took home the $1,000 grand prize. There was lots of live entertainment, activities and much more, including a fireworks display later in the evening.
