Ready, aim, duck!

Things were cooking during the Walton Community Field Days held July 28 and 29 in support of the Walton Shore Fire Department. There were games, prizes, food and music along with a children’s parade and cakewalk. The big attraction, however, was the frying pan toss competition, and cast iron at that. Dozens of women stood in the queue for their chance to win a new pink fryer. The prize went to Lacey Patterson for her 65-foot throw.
