Bridgetown celebrates Canada Day
Hundreds attend day-long events at Jubilee Park
Bridgetown hosted a day-long Canada Day event Sunday, drawing hundreds of people to Jubilee Park from mid-morning until after dark. Included was entertainment by the Bridgetown Blues Band, remarks by Bridgetown Mayor Art Marshall, Annapolis Royal Mayor John Kinsella, and Middleton Councillor Brian Neville. Annapolis MLA Stephen McNeil was also on hand to welcome the large crowd and commented on the spirit of municipal cooperation in Annapolis County.
