Wheels in Motion fundraiser features fun activities for a good cause

There were all sorts of fun activities held as part of the annual Rick Hansen Foundation Wheels in Motion fundraiser at Acadia Arena in Wolfville on Sunday, June 10, including a walk, wheelchair races, a silent auction, balloon animals and more. The winner of the wheelchair race was Jeremy Novak of Wolfville, who completed the course in less than 19 seconds. Funds raised will go toward the purchase of a lift to make Acadia University’s Kinesiology building more accessible. Reporter Kirk Starratt was on hand and files this video report…
