County of Kings contributes to upgrades at New Minas park

Kings County councillor Eric Smith (right), who represents New Minas, recently presented a cheque for $21,250 on behalf of the Municipality of Kings to New Minas village commissioner and chairman of the village’s recreation advisory committee Dale Pineo. The money, from the county’s open space fund, will go toward a major upgrade to facilities at Lockhart and Ryan Memorial Park.
