The Tusket River Environmental Protection Association and The Tusket River chapter of Trout Unlimited Canada will hold their annual general meetings at the Lake Vaughn Fire Hall on Wednesday, April 18: 6:30 light refreshments, 7 p.m. TREPA meeting; guest speaker Kermit DeGooyer, followed by Trout Unlimited Canada meeting.

A gospel concert and bake auction will be held at the Deerfield fire hall on Saturday, April 21 starting at 6:30 p.m. The funds from this evening help send area children to summer camp.

A turkey supper will be held at the Carleton Legion, Branch 167 on Saturday, April 28, starting at 4:30. There will also be a bake table. Sponsored by the ladies auxiliary.

The Order of the Eastern Star will be hosting a spring coffee party at the Masonic Hall in Hebron April 28 from 10a.m. until 1 p.m. $3.
CANOE FUN RUN

A canoe “fun run” will take place April 28 starting at Pocket Wilderness Park in Corberie and ending at the Forest Glen Community Center. Supper starts at 3p.m. Pack a lunch – no canteen on the river. Canoe ticket draw at 5p.m. For info call 761-2648.

The YMCA of Yarmouth is holding its 3rd annual Travel and Leisure Auction Saturday, April 28, in the dining hall at the NSCC Burridge Campus.
