To the Editor:



Recently, the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board purchased custom-made lapel pins for all the employees. I’m quite amazed that our School Board would purchase this ridiculous thing when the money would be much better spent in our classrooms.

The environmental impact to produce and dispose of this frivolous landfill should also have been considered before the money was wasted.

I suspect that I’ll never see anyone wearing one of these lapel pins. Shame on them.
