
Savannah Rose Emberley-Bezanson - Passed away peacefully at home on December 7, 2006 at the age of eleven months. Cherished daughter of Erin Emberley and Matthew Bezanson, Kingston, ON. Beloved granddaughter of Bill and Valereie Esford (nee Bezanson), Kingston, ON, Susan Emberley, Kingston, ON and Christopher Emberley, Kingston, ON. Precious great-granddaughter of Stanley Bezanson and the late Margaret Rose Bezanson, Forest Home, NS; Gisela and Garry Cousins, Angus, ON and Gwendolyn Emberley and the late Bruce Emberley, Kingston, ON. Sorely missed by special Auntie Donna McTaggart, Great Aunties Judy, Loretta and Marisa and Great Uncles Paul, Bruce and Kevin and many more relatives and friends in Kingston, ON, and in Nova Scotia. Arrangements were entrusted to the Central Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, Kingston, ON. Mass of the Angels was held on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at Holy Family Church in Kingston, ON. Cremation and interment followed at a later date. Leslie Harold, age 88, of Windsor, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 5, 2006, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on December 10, 1917, in Vaughans, Hants County, he was a son of the late John and Harriett (Houghton) Hebb of Vaughans, Hants County. Leslie retired in 1981, after 35 years of service with the Nova Scotia Power. He was well known in his community for his sense of humour and he always had a joke for everyone. He enjoyed the outdoors and had a passion for gardening. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, the former Olive Katherine Peach; sons, Sheldon, Windsor; John (Dawn), Vaughans; daughters, Shirley Anne (Tony) DeCoste, Sackville; Julia (Jamie) MacCarthy, Eastern Passage; Heather Harvie, New Minas; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; sisters, Jessie Hogan, Brooklyn; Elva Hebb, Vaughans; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Percy Hebb. Cremation has taken place under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. No visitation, by request. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2007, at Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor, with Rev. Bill Gibson officiating, followed by a reception at the family home, at 17 Kendall Lane. Memorial donations may be made to the Hants Community Hospital Foundation.
