Glad for Middleton book store
Letter to the Annapolis County Spectator
Dear Editor:

I want to say how glad I am that Middleton once again has a book store for us to enjoy.

To me books are a symbol of civilized life, and to have a place in town where I can spend time looking through a very diverse collection of books is wonderful. Furthermore, since it is a second-hand collection it is a boon to the bargain-hunting nature of us Nova Scotians. It is also a joy to enter the store (Blue Griffin) and listen to book enthusiasts talking about the reading experiences and favourites they want to pass on to others.

To me, one of the best things about the Valley is the dispersion of Frenchy’s stores because second-hand means economic conservation, which is a ‘green’ message. With the Blue Griffin book store we can now enjoy our impulse to conserve while reading all we want.

Sincerely,

Anne Ottow
