Fun Raiser Night benefits all

It was a festival at Wilson’s Shopping Centre last Wednesday night when the Barrington Passage business hosted its third annual Fun Raising Night.
“It was an awesome evening,� said Paul Smith, one of the volunteer employees who helped organize the event.
A total of $5,230 was raised through admission for the Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
The event was also an opportunity for local-non-profit organizations to do a little fundraising, and to provide information.
More than $4,600 worth of prizes was given out during the evening, generously donated by Wilson’s and its suppli-ers.
Smith said Wilson’s would like to thank eve-ryone for supporting the event.
“It was just awesome,� he said. “I can’t wait un-til next year.�
