Three cheers for the school board

It is at times easy to criticize, but now is the time to offer thanks and congratulations to the Tri-County Regional School Board for having the courage and wisdom to fly in the face of all the political correctness that seems to abound these days. A veritable minefield to be negotiated so that no one is ever offended. Imagine a Christmas concert to be referred to as just that – a Christmas concert and not the generic politically correct “holiday� concerts.

Three cheers for the board! Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa observe them all, call them all by their proper names and enjoy the season and the special significance that each brings to the hearts of their participants. Well done Tri-County Regional School Board.
