Blues tour a blast
Audience laps up feast at Evergreen Theatre
Doc MacLean and Manitoba Hal thrilled the audience at Evergreen Theatre Saturday evening as they delved into the blues on their Trans Canada Blues Tour. The East Margaretsville theatre got a taste of a variety of blues styles without an amplifier in the house. The two men traded songs with MacLean playing an old National Steel and both men throwing in a lot of slide guitar. They perform Sunday, Oct. 22 in the Sackville area, and in Chester Monday, Oct. 23. Next up for Evergreen is J.P. Cormier Nov. 6 and 7. The November 7 show is already sold out and the November 6 show is half gone.
