LED holiday light exchange

Food drive

December 5 The Canning and Area Volunteer Fire Department members will be canvassing the area for its annual food bank drive. Beginning at 10 a.m., firefighters will open the Canning and Scott’s Bay fire halls and travel the roads in search of donations of food and money to help support the food banks in our area.

All applications must be completed and returned to the store where picked up not later than December 6.

December 6 Valley Regional Hospital Foundation's Festival of Lights, 7 p.m. at Kentville United Baptist Church. The Dukes of Kent and the Kentville United Baptist Church Choir perform, refreshments follow in the church hall. The foundation is grateful to Valley communities for support of fundraising efforts to support quality health care.

Dessert evening and ticket auction

December 7 at the Berwick Lions Hall, enjoy homemade desserts, coffee and tea in a seasonal setting; along with a lovely ticket auction.
