RCMP federal drug unit seizes crack cocaine

The house search followed the seizure earlier in the day of a vehicle containing a large amount of cash.

Police have yet to release the names of the two women, aged 29 and 27, but said they were from Digby and Dartmouth.

The two were released to appear in court at a later date and will face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and trafficking cocaine.

An RCMP statement said the investigation is continuing and more charges are possible.
