Police apprehend three persons for auto theft
At about 8:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 5, members of Windsor Rural RCMP were patrolling when a stolen 1988 Ford Tempo was observed travelling west on Highway 101 near Exit 8 in eastern Hants County.

The Ford Tempo had been reported stolen from Windsor Dec. 31, and when Windsor RCMP had later observed this vehicle on the road Jan. 5, they subsequently stopped it.

Police charged a 30-year-old male resident of Kings County with one count of possession of unlawfully obtained property valued at less than $5,000; one count of driving while disqualified; one count of possession of narcotics, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; four counts of breach of undertaking; three counts of breach of probation; and one count of resisting or obstructing a peace officer in the performance of duties.

Police also charged a 48-year-old male resident of Kings County with one count of possession of unlawfully obtained property valued at less than $5,000, and one count of breach of undertaking. Furthermore, a charge of possession of unlawfully obtained property is also pending against a 23-year-old female resident of Kings County.
